Growing up in the suburbs I never had the opportunity to eat fresh, locally caught seafood, taste the smokey pit-cooked flavors of down-home northeastern North Carolina barbecue, or sink my teeth into a vine-ripened, sweet and juicy Rocky Hock cantaloupe. I didn’t get to watch the sparkling waters dance across the Albemarle Sound and never thought of swimming in anything but a pool or an ocean until I basked in the Perquimans River. One thing I certainly never thought I would encounter was a traffic jam caused by a combine that harvests crops like cotton, wheat, soybeans, etc. It’s been over three decades since I moved to the area, and I’ve never looked back. You see there’s something special about small towns and the people that reside there, it’s called community.
As a retired educator, prior district Communications Director for the school system, and former restaurant owner, my skill set is based on community relations. I’ve spent many years providing services to others, it comes naturally to me. As a realtor, I utilize my past work experiences to educate my clients about local market conditions, the home buying process, and I communicate openly to help my buyers and sellers achieve their real estate goals and keep them informed. I deeply value my relationships with my clients, and I believe that truth and transparency are the keys to success in all real estate transactions.
I am a team member of The Morrisette Group. Collectively, we have over three decades of real estate experience. Our team has earned numerous awards and we consistently rank as top producers in our local market. As your realtor, I am passionate about serving you and northeast North Carolina
